Carbon Raiser/Carbon Additive from China
Carbon Raiser (or Carbon Additive) is used in foundry industries such as steelmaking to increase the Carbon content to its correct level inside the foundry oven. Steel makers and manufacturers of ductile, cast and synthetic irons are the prime users of carbon raisers.
Examples of carbon raisers are calcined petroleum coke and electrically calcined anthracite, both of which tend to have a high carbon content.
